Cosy hostel with a nice view and a wonderful host that is happy to help you with anything you need.

The price is very reasonable and the hostel was clean if basic. You won\'t find a much more reasonably priced hostel in Catania. It\'s very central - just opposite the castle and around 5 minutes walk from the Duomo. Breakfast is basic, but Italians don\'t really \'do\' breakfast, so that\'s completely normal.

Very helpful owner who picked us up in his own car at night wen we were lost in the city on our arrival. Great value. Only one slight problem: the hot water pressure in bathroom is so poor that it takes half hour to take a quick shower. I will go back and stay there again. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. All three bed rooms are big, clean, well furnished and have a great view of the castle.

Basic place, certainly not a B and B as we know it - the owner drops off milk, coffee, marmalade but you have to do it yourself. Kitchen is a definite bonus to have. Quite noisy at night with the creaky doors and the bedrooms let in a lot of light. The owner doesn't speak a word of english so makes it quite hard to communicate, but he is friendly and helpful enough. Its up about 4 flights of stairs. Was cheap enough for us and close to what we wanted though.

Very nice stay, Saro was a champ for giving us a lift from the station.

Finding this hostel by car may cause heart-problems, but it is definitely worth it. The staff arent really there and dont speak much English, but the rooms are massive, the kitchen is there for your usage and it is close to all the sites as well as local stores. Very good value for Italy.

B&B didn't have much of a breakfast but it did have a nice view of the castello, It was also a bit of a hike from the train station so I recommend taking the bus or taxi.
