This was an amazing stay! It was one of the best times I've had in a long time. The staff is very very friendly. They helped me book trips and sometimes even went out with us. It was a blast! Allergy sufferers bring your anti-histamines though because a dog (while lovable) and futonish style mattresses (while comfortable) may cause some difficulties. Just the same, I would recommend this to anybody.

This is a nice family owned hostel. It is kind of in a back alley, but the location is still great (close to some must see sites). The free breakfast is a big plus. My only major complaint is the ridiculous showers, which are just a shower head in the middle of the bathroom. So shower water gets everywhere, toilet, sink, etc.

Bad dorm experience.
The dorms are infested with mosquitos, so much so that i couldn't sleep more than an hour the first night I was there. It is an admitted problem. Almost everyone in my dorm was getting bitten all over. When I told the staff, they did light some type of coil as well as plug some anti mosquito stuff in the wall, but the smoke gave me a headache. I had to move hostels, but the manager did give me my money back which was professional of him.
