Staff was wonderful. I only stayed for 1 night, but they arranged train tickets, panda tour, hostel and free pickup at the next place. They even send my postcards. The common room is quite cold at winter, cause there is no roof. It must be really nice during the summer. But at winter the roof should be covered.

The staff was really helpfull. The manager even showed us how to eat hotpot and helped us ordering the food, which was really nice. Although it is a shame that the common room doesn't have a roof, so it is really cold there.

Great staff! helped me book my train tickets and was very helpful in suggesting places to go and things to see. Location is just outside the city center with easy access to many of the sights around town.

Located in a modern ancient-looking street, lots of restaurants all around (the one just opposite the hostel is particularly lively during the weekend and the food was cheap and tasty). When we arrived the toilet was not very clean but they offered to clean it up the next morning. Don't forget to bring your own towel 'cos the ones they sell here(6RMB) are really tiny! All in all it was a good choice: cheap dorms, nice atmosphere, helpful staff, no curfew.

The staff have been most helpful in helping me to adapt to a whole new
culture。 Nothing is too much effort them as they go out of their way to make your stay in Chengdu that much more enjoyable and easier and everything is done with a smile. Their local knowledge is invaluable whether it be somehwere good to eat or which bus to get to which attraction。

We had a problem with the booking - they were full but still took our booking via hostelworld. We then got offered 2 rooms in a dorm or a room at their sister place the loft - this place was very basic. They were very apologetic and gave us discount on subsequent nights - we should not have had the problem buy they did respond to it well.

Location is unbeatable. the overall atmosphere is very impressive. Clean room, good shower, good price- all u need for backpacker.
Staff are nice ass well. but i find it depends on who u talk to- perhaps more training to bring equal high standard to all the staff.
