The staff are really friendly and they all speak really good english! Its right in the city centre, and if you need to get a taxi ask to go close to the Cathedral in the centre.

Great staff!

This hostel couldn't have been more central, a good base for exploring Sarajevo. Staff were so freindly, helpful and welcoming. It was a fun hostel even when the Russians cut the gas and we had limited heating and hot water. Internet was down, while I was there but it was good for the few minutes I used it. Hostel was sparkling clean! Free pasta, cornflakes, soup, and tea coffee went down a treat. Thanks for a great stay HCC. Johnny, NZ

Even though it was freezing in Sarajevo thanks to the gas cut off, the hostel owner and staff made me feel very welcome at HCC. It's incredibly clean, beds are comfortable, and there's free food for every meal of the day (bonus!).

Great staff + super location

Great location and a wonderful staff . . . I would recommend this hostel to anybody who doesn't mind a lot of activity going on around them.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hostel City Center. It was in a perfect location, very clean and with lots of character. The staff was super friendly and helpful.. We had to leave early one morning and the person at the front desk not only came to wake us up at 5:00am but also arranged for a taxi to take us to the bus station. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay there again. Thanks!

You will not find a better hostel. Everyone on staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were immaculate. It feels just like home: the kitchen offers free pasta, rice, coffee, tea, and milk; there is a large screen TV in the common room with a wide array of DVDs, both American and local, to choose from; there is free internet and WiFi. The location is perfect, with old town a mere two blocks away. I give Hostel City Center Sarajevo my highest rating.
