One of the best hostels we have stayed in. It has a very friendly atmosphere and the other guests and staff were always helpful.However it would have been good if they had luggage storage and better security.

nice place. Staff unable to control drunk hostellers who revelled til after 4.30am with shouts and banging for 2 nights in a row. Otherwise it was a grand place

Happy days was a great hostel, right on the main shopping street and close to the vatican. its still walking distance to all the other sights too. everything was clean and nice and the staff were friendly. the 2 euro breakfast was a super start to the day and it was great having free internet and sky tv in the common room. there were some really noisy people one of the days we stayed but thats what you get with hostels so a place i'd reccomend

For the price, this place is amazing. Just make sure you book all the nights you want ahead of time online because they will up the price if you try to add nights later. Richard, the main guy that checks people in is wonderful. He dealt with so much shit very nicely. I felt bad because people kept complaining about policies he can't control. He was fantastic and so were the others. It was a little dirty and the showers weren't so great, but for 10 Euro it was fantastic. Can't beat this...More

Great hostel all around. Fantastic kitchen (and there is conveniently a supermarket around the corner). The staff are really friendly and it is literally only 5minutes from the Vatican. Thanks!

Generally good hostel. the showers weren't always hot and the room could have been warmer. The small kitchen made it hard to fit everyone in.
