quiet,relaxed hostel with a good kitchen. whilst outside of the 'tourist' areas of singapore it is only a minute's walk away from a metro stop so still convenient.in fact,excellent location for nature reserves,kranji floodlit horse race track and the causeway link to malaysia. the owner has excellent knowledge of singapore and spends time with you discussing what you want to do and how to get the most out of your stay. thanks yang!

Great little hostel, loads of character. Very friendly staff. About 25 minutes by train from the city, which is the only downside to staying here. We would stay here again if we returned to singapore

Everything is excellent but the location.
But it's really nice place with nice staff.
I really felt like home.

this place is quite good place for me because it's near MRT , supermarket, food court. And the most thing i like was the host who can give you the best advice for your trip in Singapore.

As stated the hostel is about 40 min. out of town. This is really far out of town! On the other hand, if you like doing nature trips, might be a good base...
There's only one small mixed dorm that I found a bit cluttered. Apart from that the deco is very interesting e.g. Toiletseats as chairs.
I think One66 gets its good ratings because of the owner. He is extreamly helpfull, sitts you down to discuss what you would like to do with your time here.

The hostel is 45 minutes from downtown by MRT. There are no big lockers for bags, but there are small lockers for passports, mp3 players, etc. The owner is really kind and helpful, the decor is quite interesting, I never had to wait for a shower or to use the bathroom or internet or kitchen, and it was relatively cool at night, though there's no AC. If you're not looking to stay out past 11:30 very often, it's a great place to stay.

If you're looking for the real singapore experience in a small family-like hostel, go there - Yang was so friendly and helpful, great hostel!
