I am a returning customer and was disapointed this time. We paid almost Rp 2000 for a small room (108) with no fresh air and no breakfast included. They tried to take extra Rp 500 from us to get into the room at 8 am (we came off a night bus) even tough the room was ready!! Will not stay there again!!

My stay at hotel ajanta was good, I really enjoyed it. Room, Restaurant, Internet Cafe and Service, all were pefectly managed. Also I booked a tour through their inhouse travel agency and enjoyed the Elephant Ride, Camel Ride and Traditional Rajasthan Dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel and their agency.

clean and good hotel in a central location, but in a bit dodgy area. both the rooms and the breakfast are a bit overpriced though. (hotel godwin in same street has better offer)

Ajanta is OK but overpriced,and as we arrived 1st thing in the morning after our flight we got shepherded into the tour office and given a hard sell by a bossy women who wanted loads of commission for tickets and tours.eg for a 800 rupee train journey she quoted 1400!book your tickets at the stations tourist office or bargain hard!Also they tried to charge us for the prepaid deposit so make sure you print off a copy of the booking.On the +side we got free aiport pickup and its clean

Very pushy staff, tring to sell you stuff etc and they had no record of my deposite so i had to pay that again, as I had not printed out any recept

An excellent hotel in the middle of a very crowded and busy part of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there was lack of lounge to have guests to visit me and the inflexibility of management to allow my National guests to visit me in my room that had nice lounge furniture. Internet connection was very erratic.
