the bed sheets were very dirty and it felt disgusting to use, it did not feel clean. We asked for new sheets, but it was the same.

Hotel Pearl is pretty cheap by Mumbai standards, yet it is a decent little hotel, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it is located quite far from the centre of Mumbai, but the suburb that it is in, Chembur is a nice, safe suburb and it is easily accessible with the train which costs only 7 rupee.

The hotel is too far from the centre of Mumbai. Better pay a little more than having to commute for 2 hours to get into the main city and another 2 to get back. Reputedly Bad area of Mumbai.Staff rude. Only the manager is lovely. Room service very poor. Would not return and would not recommend.

Very friendly and accomodating.
The free internet was nice, and staff
were lovely.
I'd recomend to stay here for your first time
in Bombay, harder to find, but the taxi drivers
are pretty clever.

Don't let the location put you off,it isn't in central Mumbai and yes, its away from the main 'backpacker' area but you get to see a different side of Mumbai life, we were the only 'foreigners' in the area, but everyone was so helpful. A great veggie restaurant around the corner and close to train station. taking the train into Mumbai was fun and beats sitting in the traffic, which was always terrible! Overall, we'd recommend this place if you want to see city life in India!
