This was a rea hosel, the acilities are excellent and it was in a really beautiful setting. All Good!

GET RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING U DO ON RECEPTION... they told my friend she hadn't paid her room (she had) and had to pay again coz she had no recepit.
I was annoyed by having to use 3 different currencies - I had to pay by credit card to secure the booking... I needed USD's cash to pay the booking on arrival (no CC facility)... and local money (kwatar?) to use inside the place, i.e. at the bar. If you pay anything in USD's dont expect change... have plenty of SMALL notes!

I've been recommending volunteers from my NGO to stay here for the past 2 years. This year I thought let me go and check it out for myself having been recommending it on second hand info. It was an OK backpackers - nothing special and I was overal a bit dissappointed to be honest. I'm not sure if I'd continue to recommend it.

Jollyboys is always a favourite and they have all you need at your fingertips. The food is not always up to standard and a little bit on the high side. However, the staff and the character of the place make up for it...

I must must put in words my admiration for the efficient and friendly manner shown by Sue towards us while we were there.A word for Indian travellers, you may want to book early and reserve room with Bathroom ensuite, having said that, I would like to let you know that the standards of cleanliness being followed by Jollyboys would really bowl you over.
