we were pleasantly surprised by our accomodations. the only thing we didn't like were the fruit flies on the shower curtain.

It is not close to the town, but there is a free shuttle which will take you to town centre between 7-12 and 4-7. A taxi costs between 30 to 50 pesos to the hotel. It is spotlessly clean. The breakfast is excellent. It is a welcome break from travelling and costs only slightly more than the hostels. After the International Club Hostel (HELL!) in Cancun, this was heaven.

Very smart, clean hotel with excellent staff and very good security.
They also have a good and free transportation to their beach club and downtown, which is also available for transfers from the hotel to the bus station.
Breakfast was good with a range of fruit, juices, coffee, toast and cereals etc.
