DON'T STAY HERE! during our time we discovered that it is not uncommon for peoples entire bags and suitcases to just dissappear. the so called breakfast consisted of very stale bread (no toaster) getting more stale each day we were there. the other guests had a very odd vibe about them to the point where they made you severely uncomfortable. the kitchen is ill equipped and always dirty. we left and spent out last 2 nights in a hotel but at least we felt safe and still have our belongings.

It was very nice and I felt, as if I was at home. The people working on this hostel are very friendly. They help you and give you information in every case.Next year I will visit Haraldsheim again.

Very good hostel if you want a relaxing get a way. Not good if you want fun as you are not allowed to drink alcohol at all. The beds are comfy and its a very chill atmospere.

Pretty much like every other HI hostel I've stayed in. A nice place, very clean and decent facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. But it just wasn't much fun. It kindof felt like a mental institution with the patients all sitting around playing chess (ok, maybe not that bad).
It's also a little way out of the city and not nice to get to when it's cold and dark (ie winter)

I arrived late at night and found the directions from the metro incomplete (they led to a hill but gave no indication of which direction the hostel would be). I spent about twenty minutes listening to the hostel's answering machine (using a UK SIM card) and no-one answered, so I had to find a stranger to direct me (which was not easy at 11pm in a very quiet location)... In the day light I could see that there was a small sign but this was not visible at night.

The hostel was very busy but was not noisy at night which was good. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It is in a lovely location, with a good view.
