Very nice Ryokan, with feel for Japanese tradition with little western influence (western breakfast included etc.).

I will not return there. the reason? It is because I am not a smoker and still, even if my room was a non smoking room, I could smell the smoke. It is sad, since the place and the breakfast and the stuff otherwise are great! But the smoke, is a really concern for me. Kindest regards

We were given a single room instead a double room by mistake, after a discussion we were moved to the right room which was just fine, the shower didn't have hot water!!, one of our friends was sleeping in a sofa instead of a proper room, location was awful. I wouldn't recommend this hotel ever!

On the whole our stay was fine and although out of central Nagoya the hostel is convenient for Inyuama and Seto lines if you are visiting those places. It's good for the price and gives the experience of a ryokan. On the downside-the male manager is not very friendly and the music at breakfast (which is very small) is so loud you can't hear yourself think. We turned it down but he wasn't amused!
