Owner is a super nice guy. He doesn't speak English, but he does speak French in addition to Portuguese. Since one of us spoke French it was all good! And the others guest were very helpful in translating when I wasn't there to do so for my friend. Close to the metro, standard continental breakfast with some very tasty rolls, and nice decor.

We felt like at home in Pedra Antiga. Clean rooms and very confortable beds. The couple leading the hostel are lovely. It was a great place to make our stay in Porto perfect!

They should make some common room to hang around, with having that it would be perfect, anyway it was really good choosing this hostel.

This place will give you your moneys worth. It is very clean, safe and centrally located. And for the price your rooms with TV and Bathroom included are hard to beat. Suggest going in summer however ha ha.

Although the hotel runner doesn't speak English, he is so nice and he patiently explain things to us. We enjoy this hotel very much.

Staff were very friendly in this hostel even though it was difficult to converse as the owner does not speak much English. Room size is good, bed is comfortable, en-suite bathroom and free internet. You get what you paid for. The street the hostel is located on can be slighly doggy late at night, however it is not doggy enough for me not to rebook again. Will defo stay again.
