For the price it has been the best hostel I have stayed in so far in Costa Rica.

we liked the place a lot, and would return. We didn't really shop around, just found this recommended by some internet site. We would return.

This was the worst sleep I have ever had!!!
The wind almost blew all night and it was so hard to sleep. Do not stay here

Ronnie was super helpful in helping me book activities in Monteverde. His family that help run the place are also just as nice. We had a private and it was definitely worth it. Clean everything. The light breakfast in the mornings topped it off. This hostel is only a 5 minute walk from central Monteverde... probably because you can walk through the whole town in 20 minutes. Ha! I stayed here because so many reviews from various sites recommended it. Now I know why.

The hospitality and the help with arrangements for tours, food and travel was wonderful. I heartily recommend this place.

The owner manages the front desk and was extremely helpful. I recommend the private room for $20, it comes with a full size bed, a twin bed and a private bathroom.

This was a really wonderful stay! The owner is a fantastic host- very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the showers were nice and hot!

Ronnie (the owner) really makes this place. Very friendly and helpful, and spent as much time hanging out with guests in the common area as at the front desk. Very helpful in booking tours and transfers. Location is easy walk to downtown Monteverde, but a bit quieter than some locations right in town.
