It is a lovely old hutong style Chinese house, very home feeling but also quite weldone facilities like a hotel. Not a noisy fun place but good for quiet people and suitfamilies. Also, it is close to Financial business street so good for bussines travelling (like me).

they have 3 house in the same hutong area. This one i stayed is a high class version , more like a hotel, and the other two are guest houses or hostels. The staff are samely nice and helpful, the bathroom, bed, and all decorations are more like old royal palace. They have TV, phone, desk and warobe (old style Chinese wooden furniture) in the room, and even a small ice frige. Very impressive stay!

I stayed several traditional houses hostels in Beijing but found this new one may be the more than a hostel. They said themselvs "deluxe version" of Templeside and it is true. I know other two Templeside Houses but this one is much different. The service is just plain price, but room rate a bit higher than other hutong house hoste, but a Nice stay and good worth!

lovely place, I booked one night only but stay for more than 6 nights there. It is a sort of high class guest house but the current price is a really good value. Both of the hsrdware and the soft ware are perfect! Esp, the location, in a real Chinese local neighbourhood and just behind (30 meters away) from the White Pogada.

although a bit expensive than other hostels, but really a worth. THe old Chinese furnitures, the bathroom facilitis, the courtyard... all them are really good value for money! Frankly speaking, it is even better than some 4 star hotels!

neat place! Fantastic stay, it is just next to the White Tower, in the city center, with 7 high class rooms and one large basment for parties, So clean and nice house, and less than 10 mins to subway station, a bunch of buses nearby. Highly recommended!

perfect stay! esp the bathroom is really deluxe! The owner told us they have three houses altogether and two are guesthouse one is deluxe version. The one I stayed is the hotel. A bit more but absolutly valuable. All the furniture are wooden and Chinese style. The room is nice and warm! they have a covered courtyard, much better than normal courtyard house in Beijing in winter. Highly recommended!
