It isn't too bad. The town is extremely quiet, especially this time of year. The hostel owner is nice and quite helpful. Good place for a stopover if you need to get the ferry but wouldn't recommend going there as part of your trip.

Very beautiful private room, with a lot of charm and freshly renovated.

Not a place to hang out and meet people but close to the main square and clean and comfortable. no towels, so bring your own!

The hostel is less than a five minute walk from the center of Stari Grad and approximately a half hour walk from the local beaches. Hvar town is a 40min bus journey or 20 mins in a cab, although this is very expensive.

The hostel is realy nice. So is the owner who picks everyone up from the ferry, which is really handy and kind. Stari grad, how ever, was a bit less fun according to us. Mostly families and couples visit this town. Independent travelers go to Hvar city.

had a very nice stay in here; very close to the center (5 minute walk), clean house, nice rooms, airconditioned. There is a beach close to the town, but it is also very bueatifull to drive a little and find a beach somewhere along the road. Beautifull island! I liked stari grad more than hvar town; stari grad was less touristic.
