Fantastic Hostel. Lots of places to just relax and hang out. excellent rooms, fantastic staff.. I'd recommend this to anyone.

The location is very poor - ( too close to the homeless & drug dealers ). And that restricts a solo female traveller from staying out too late! If you are not travelling alone, it will be fine!

i think the H.i Sfo City Center is excellent, it has an excellent location between China town and Civic center, it has nice beds, save bedrooms, and very clean bathrooms in the bethroom, and free coffee, tea, bread, and begals for breakfast. there are a lot of homeless around the hostel, just be smart. by the way in the city as well. bring a lock cuz there are lockers inside the bedroom. i'm so happy that i stayed in this hostel, definately i recommend this hostel it is great.

The hostal is quite boring, and its surroundings aren't that nice. You can't go out and have a beer without feeling insecure. The rest was OK.

Very clean hostel -spotless! The best "big city" hostel I have ever stayed in. Great atmosphere. I found the area safe and well lit, despite being a little gritty.

The rooms were more like a hotel set up than hostel. Realy nice 4 bed dorms with lockers and very clean bathroom.
