A really good place, the only thing were the beds, they were creaking and made a lot og noises.

No communal area, our double en suite was actually just two beds pushed together and NO EN SUITE. Only one bathroom up two flights of stairs shared between everyone in the building (not very good in the morning)
however, staff was lovely and settled us in and let us leaves our bags after we checked out, the free internet was very useful, great choice of italian tv channels to amuse us in the early hours, an AMAZING floor (seriously, tiles need to be seen to be believed)

The staff aren't actually on sight so you have to wait a few minutes for them to arrive which wasn't too bad as there is a phone in the main foyer to call them on. they don't seem to have change on them either so they gave me a bottle of water to make up the difference in change, for ?0.20cent it was good value if you ask me. the rooms were nice and clean, and it's about a 5 to 10 min walk to the tower of Pisa.

In fact I only stayed there one night as there was a mixup but the lovely owner went out of his way to amend the mix up and was so wonderful and accomodating, I would recommend this hostel.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Villa Leaning Tower. The room was large and comfortable (and warm) with a separate (large) bath across the hall that had been newly remodeled. Everything was very clean. The bath was a tub and a hand-held showerhead with rather low water pressure, and the towels were very, very thin (but absorbent).
