We rent 6 self-catering apartments in Pietrasanta downtown, Tuscany. Pietrasanta is a medieval village near Lucca and Pisa. Ask for our newsletter about Arts , Marble and Tourism at Pietrasanta. Our grandfather was a carver and a small artist, who lived in the Family Palazzo Ferretti in the medieval downtown. Since 2001 we have been renting out the renovated Palazzo Ferretti to foreign tourists and artists.Palazzo Ferretti has six lovely apartments and a nice garden. The area has traffic limitations and it is very quiet. You need a special permit from the local police to drive the downtown and to park in the courtyard. If you park your car outside the old downtown, you are at 5-10 minute walk from the apartments. We suggest not driving into the old medieval center, and parking the car outside the old walls. All the apartments have washing machine, safe, steam iron, ironing board, free-to-view satellite TV set, WIFI internet at free of charge. The kitchen is very comfortable and it is fully equipped: microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, etc (no oven). The garden is about 200 square meters, and it has sun-beds, tables, chairs, sun-umbrellas, barbeque, etc.The address is Via del Paduletto 10-12, Pietrasanta, Tuscany. Pietrasanta has been the marble capital since the times of Michelangelo, and today the town has a lot of art galleries, marble studios and bronze foundries, as well as Italian fashion shops, luxury beaches and wonderful mountains (Apuan Alps). In the house where Michelangelo spent some months of his life, waiting for the marble block of his masterpiece 'Piet' (today in the Vatican museum, in Rome), tourists can drink an espresso coffee, in front of the 'Piazza' (Cathedral square). A lot of restaurants of the Versilia coastal have moved to Pietrasanta in the last 10 years, as the town has become the centre of the high-quality tourism. Please Note: 1) Full payment is required at least 4 weeks prior to arrival. In case of no-show, the apartment will keep the entire amount of the rental. 2) Cancellation must be notified at least one week before arrival date, and you will be refund at no charge (100%). 3) You rent one of the 6 apartments (one bedroom, one dining-room, one bathroom) for two people, according to the availabily and your needs (ground floor, or first floor, or second floor, or third floor).4) Email us as soon as you booked the apartment, in order to receive additional information (how to get the keys, how to get to the apartment, how to manage facilities, etc.)5) Ask me for a list of old guests from your country, to contact them in order to get information about the apartments and Pietrasanta
