Pensao O Laranjeira is uniquely situated in Vianado Castelo historical centre close to the emblematical Praça da Républica.This vintage building has a well-referenced traditional kitchen restaurant, 7 theme rooms and 5 apartments (future project).We wanted our rooms to be an unforgettable experience to our guests and created a cosy environment and still maintaining its historical legacy.Each room has a different theme: 'Traje à Vianesa', 'Eiffel', 'Filigrana', 'Lethes', 'Santa Luzia', 'Tapetes' (flowers street decoration), 'Traje à Vianesa' (traditional costume) e 'Vinho Verde'.Mostly traditional Portuguese cuisine the Laranjeira's Restaurant transmit its visitors traditional flavours a cosy service and family ambience. Like the good old days! We have very nice menus for around 20 euros. We open everyday but saturday midday.Every year a few days before and a few days after August the 20th it begins one of the most traditional Portuguese traditional festivities - Romaria - the Nossa Senhora d'Agonia festivity. Amongst several attractions we have the must see the streets decorated with flowers.The 3rd Pensao O Laranjeira generation decided to refresh the image of the Pensao - the oldest commercial building in Viana - by telling their family story, reminiscing Viana's traditions and folklore.
